Snow Happy

Hello, Melissa here from Doxie Mel Designs with a snowflake shaped card. I found the snowflake at SVG Cutting Files. It is one of the Freebie Files and you can get yours here.  I used my Silhouette Cameo and made a shadow of the snowflake and then welded the to layers together. The print and cut feature on my machine was used to create the snowman and cardinal.

The sentiment stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-149 Happy Snowman with Label. The snowman and cardinal is ONE of the three snowmen in the set, Traditional Snowmen.

Thanks for stopping today- Have a great day!

Christmas In The Heart

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share with you. I used the Traditional Snowman Digi stamps to create this card. These are BRAND new and being released TODAY!

I created the easel card using the SVG Cutting Files Center Step Curved cut file. WOW...These files make creating cards like this SO SUPER SIMPLE! It's all ready to go, you just cut them out!

I colored the Traditional Snowman image using Copic markers and added some Snow White Flower Soft for the snow. I added some Christmas Tree stickers that I had in my stash to the sides and added a bow to the bottom layer. I made the sentiment tag using SVG Cutting Files Bracket Card and stamped the sentiment. I used My Craft Spot's Joy To The World stamp set for the sentiment and heat embossed it in white. To finish I added some Glitter stickles to the snow line and around the sentiment frame.

I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

Gobble! Gobble!

Hey everyone, it's Barb from BugBites  with a new release teaser for you today.  I am showcasing the Turkey Time Digital stamp set being released this Friday! Oh, you're going to love it!
Since I am mass producing these Thanksgiving treat bags, I decided to blend and color my digital image on my computer. Then I used the print and cut feature with the Cameo to create and cut out the base of the label and the Turkey.
It's hard to see in the photo, but the turkey is on foam tape.

The treat holder itself is just a 2.5"x5" piece of card stock scored at the 1/2" mark on each side to make a tray. The chocolate nuggets are covered in pattern paper cut at 1"x3". I used a pretzel plastic bag and tied it up with my tag and ribbon.  I found inspiration here and here for this project.

Be sure to check here on Friday to see all the newest releases. Have a crafty day!

Bounty Of The Season Gift Bag

Hello everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a fun gift bag to share with you. I used the Digi My World  Hayrides Digi stamp set for that super cute girl holding the pumpkin. This is such a wonderful fall themed set!

I created the bag using a paper lunch sack and the front and back layers are from the SVG Cutting Files Arched 2 Card Base cut file. After I glued the front and backs onto the bag, I used an oval punch to punch out the handles.
I colored the girl digi with copic markers and cut her out. I mounted her on pop dots and added a punched flower border to the bottom of the bag. The sentiment mats were cut with My Craft Spot's Ornate Labels Metal Dies and I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Happy Thanksgiving stamp set. To finish, I threaded some ribbon through the sentiment tag and tied the bag closed with some more ribbon.

I hope you all liked my project today and thanks for stopping in!
Have a great day and weekend!

Its a Nerdy Halloween, afterall!! NEW RELEASE!!

Hi everyone.
It has certainly been a LONG time since we updated or created anything new for Digi My World.  We have been soooo busy building our sister site, that its now time to come full circle and have them all work alongside one another!

Today, is just a small step in that direction..but we are releasing our newest Digital Stamp, NERDY HALLOWEEN
I just ADORE this set.  Its really just my whole Kawaii nerdy style!

Make sure to check out ALL the Design Team Members Blog today to see what they made with this awesome new set!

For my project, I used the NERDY Skeleton.
I created 2 quick and easy treat bags for my boys.
These really come together so QUICK and easy!
Here is the simple recipe!
Skeleton from NERDY HALLOWEEN, simply colored with Copics
Jaded Blossom 1 X 8 Bag and 3 X4 Bag

The Purple Skeleton is just hole puched to the bag and tied off with some Trick or Treat Twine

The Blue Skeleton is adhered to the Jaded Blossom Fancy Topper Tie, and I stamped a sentiment from the Too Cute To Spook Set on a Candy Charm Banner Die.  This one was tied off using Aqua Licorice Twine
